Chelsea &
Lorraine Goodrich
The
Goodrich family is from Mt. Home, Idaho, where Brother Goodrich is a
doctor and a bishop. Chelsea, like her mother, Lorraine, is
self-motivated and outing. A serious student, Chelsea is enrolled in
a home mentoring program through George Wythe College.
In
October of 2000 Chelsea became the "poster child" of the home school
movement when Elder David Haight spoke about her in General Conference.
She had memorized the Proclamation on the Family. Chelsea spoke at our
LDS-HEA Conference that summer; and her mother, Lorraine, spoke in 2002, and the
entire family spoke at the UHEA Convention. This
family is a credit to the home school movement, and they certainly have
Brother Haight's approval!
